Recalls. Free Victoria Secret and Staples Rewards.... Oh my!

Today I spent the morning do a few much needed random errands...

The first being a trip to Bath and Body Works to return 3 of 4 recalled lighters that I had bought last November.

Product Recalls
Zippo Recalls Candle Lighters Due to Burn Hazard
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: Zippo Slatkin & Co. Candle Lighters
Units: About 42,500
Importer: Zippo Manufacturing Company, of Bradford, Pa.
Hazard: Lighters can produce an excessive flame when adjusted to maximum flame setting, posing a burn hazard to consumers.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description: This recall involves the Zippo Slatkin & Co. candle lighters with date codes G09 or H09. The lighters are finished in high-polish chrome or white with a chrome nozzle. The lighter uses refillable butane fuel and measures 6.5 inches long and 1 inch wide. The date code is embossed on the black adjuster knob located on the end of the lighter (opposite to the nozzle). "Slatkin & Co." and "Zippo" are printed on packaging. "Zippo" is also embossed on the product.
Sold at: Bath & Body Works and White Barn Candle stores nationwide and online in November 2009 for about $10.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using this product and contact Zippo for information on returning the black adjuster knob and receiving a free replacement Zippo candle lighter.
Consumer Contact: For additional information, please contact Zippo at (800) 320-7490 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firm's Web site at www.Zippominimplrecall.com.
CPSC is still interested in receiving incident or injury reports that are either directly related to this product recall or involve a different hazard with the same product. Please tell us about it by visiting https://www.cpsc.gov/cgibin/incident.aspx.
Click Here to see a picture of where to look for the date code on the lighter.

For three lighters I recieved a refund of $31.80. Which is a great deals since I used a coupon to get them buy one get one when I bought them.

My Question is should this total go into my spread sheet?

Next Stop was Victoria Secret

I had a coupon for Free Panties WITHOUT making a purchase.  It also had a $10.00 of a Bra coupon attached, but a purchase was not nesecary for the free underwear!

Finally have you heard of Stapples Rewards?

I dropped off three empty ink Cartridges  for 3 $3.00 credits in staples reward dollars.  While I was there to drop off my direct TV boxes via FED Ex since we switched back to cable.

Random Fact:

I hate coffee and the smell of it. I request the coffee samples and keep them in the freezer for whenever we get guests who enjoy coffee. They then have a variety and new flavors and brands to try.

Need Diapers or other Baby Stuff? Try Diapers.com today!

Diapers.com has an awesome deal going today!

I usually order diapers from Amazon, but the joy of getting Pampers from Diapers.com is that you can mail in your manufactor coupons to get credit to your account. We are still potty training so we use a lot of  Pampers Cruisers usually from Amazon or Target Clearance.

  1. Register for a new account with Diapers.com and use referal code VANE8740
2.Add enough diaper packs to total $49. (Pampers = $9.49. Huggies
       =  $9.99.      Luvs = $7.99)

    3.  You may need a small filler or two to make your total over $49 (Pampers   Travel Wipes = $1.99)

    4.  Use promo code Diapers49 to get $10 off your order.

    5.  You can combine promote code 10PERCENT with DIAPERS49 to get  10percent off your order.

     5. Your total out of pocket will be around $40  or less and you’ll have free shippping

      6. Then submit the Mail in Rebate  HERE to get $14.97 back.

The total price for everything should be around $25.00
