Dinner Tonight

Couponers Eat Healthy. I was reading Bethany's Blog here where she talks about the 7 Myths of Coupons. I thought I would share what I make for dinner on occasion.

* Disclosure I am not a good cook or experienced cook. I graduated from college in 2005 where I lived next to a Wendy's and was great friends with the 99cent menu. Then I lived at home for a year where my mother was an excellent cook and dating my husband who loved to take me out to eat. I am learning how to cook and use the crockpot quit often. That is the only way I can make meat with out drying it out.

With that being said... Tonights Dinner

London Broil - $2.74 for 1.39lbs
London Broil Recipe
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 london broil (or flank steak)

Mix ingredients. Pierce steak on both sides with fork. Place in plastic bag with marinade and refrigerate overnight. Grill on low heat. We grill ours slowly and it makes it more tender. Really good!

The Total for this meal is

Meat 2.74

This will feed myself, my husband ,a toddler and have leftovers for the next day!
